Charlotte watched in amazement as a tiny spider crawled diagonally over her computer screen. She followed it with her eyes as it shot up towards the ceiling on an invisible thread and erased the short paragraph she had written about an amazing and life-changing event she had experienced over the weekend, choosing to blog about this spider instead.

Plums that are too squishy. Plums that are too hard, that are too sour (because you can’t just sit there waiting for them to ripen.) Plums that are not juicy. Plums that are pockmarked.
